For years, Americans have been summoned to help resolve the issue with their banks, lenders, and other financial institutions. Fortunately, now there is someone to answer the phone and field complaints about financial practices that unfairly: Office of the Ombudsman on the consumer financial protection Bureau (CFPB).
Dodd Financial Reform Bill-Frank, I strongly support, created to make the CFPB fairer financial transactions, most honest, and more open to American consumers. The aim is to put an end to this type of predatory practices that contributed so heavily for the near-collapse of our financial and banking system. While this in itself is a valuable goal, I also feel that the consumer and smaller financial institutions that deserve to have someone who works with them in new bodies to solve the issue one-on-one. Therefore, I write and help pass amendment to Dodd-Frank made the Ombudsman in the CFPB.
